Professional Experience
Mr. Mandler is rated “AV - Preeminent" by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory which is its highest rating based on his years of experience and endorsement by his colleagues in the areas of professional conduct, ethics, and ability.
Mr. Mandler has been representing lending institutions for most of his thirty one years in practice. His banking practice focuses on commercial loan workouts, lender liability claims, fraudulent conveyances, commercial loan foreclosures, and commercial transactions under the Uniform Commercial Code.
Mr. Mandler is frequently called upon to handle some of the most complicated workouts in a Bank's portfolio. His recent workouts include the foreclosure of a $21 million dollar loan securing a 200 unit condominium project and the related emergency appointment of a receiver, as well as the foreclosure of 12 luxury townhouses in Fort Lauderdale and the subsequent negotiation and completed sale of those units to a third party. Mr. Mandler successfully defended banks against claims of lender liability and has worked out over $50 million dollars in troubled loans.
A seasoned litigator with broad experience, Mr. Mandler’s practice also involves the representation of clients in local and international business disputes related to the breach of commercial contracts, partnership agreements and real estate contracts. As examples, Mr.. Mandler has negotiated contracts and settlements in China, Taiwan and Korea.
