Professional Experience
Ryan Hobbs is an attorney in the Business Litigation Practice Group in the firm's Tallahassee office. Ryan has focused his practice in the area of labor and employment law, representing employers and employees in issues arising out of employment including employment discrimination (on both the federal and state levels), the Family and Medical Leave Act, and worker's compensations retaliation. Ryan also has experience in complex commercial litigation as well as election law. Ryan's high profile litigation experience includes the successful representation of Florida's Secretary of State in a statewide lawsuit challenging ballot placement of referenda during the 2008 general election, as well as the successful representation of a national political party committee, as well as said political party's Florida committee in a lawsuit involving election proceedings during the 2008 general election.
During law school Ryan clerked for North Carolina Court of Appeals Judge James A. Wynn.
