Professional Experience
Phillip E. Dubé is a litigator and registered patent attorney in the Firm's Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Phillip has counseled and represented clients involved in disputes regarding condominium and other real estate purchases, patent and other intellectual property rights, commercial contracts, products liability, professional malpractice, the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act, and the Florida Condominium and Homeowners Association Acts. Phillip has extensive experience representing real estate developers in disputes with pre-construction purchasers.
Prior to moving to Florida, Phillip practiced at Covington & Burling, a large firm in Washington, D.C., where he focused on a range of areas including complex commercial litigation, insurance coverage, intellectual property, and governmental investigations.
During law school Phillip was a member of the editorial board for the University of Virginia Law Review and the notes editor for the University of Virginia Environmental Law Journal. Phillip also served as a mediator for the Charlottesville General District Court. Upon graduation from law school, Phillip served as a law clerk to Judge John P. Wiese of the United States Court of Federal Claims.
